Ryan J. Flynn's "Columbia Circumpunct" is a true piece of history. This work was commissioned by Brother Tommy Morris for his lodge, Columbia Lodge No.58 in Frederick Maryland. The work was created as an homage to the 14th century medieval artworks of the same style. The painting used Egg Tempera, a time tested medium which pigment is mixed with egg yolk, distilled water and vinegar and was painted not on canvas but directly onto wood, which was then gold leafed and sealed with lacquer.
This painting, which now hangs in the Frederick, Maryland Masonic temple can now be shown in your lodge, home or office with this high quality limited edition Giclee print.
Each print will be signed and numbered by the artist and is guaranteed not to fade for 90 years in bright sunlight. If framed, and stored properly, these prints will last generations upon generations
Furthermore, we are happy to announce that a percentage of the sales of this print will be donated to the Knights of Saint Andrew, Valley of Frederick, which was chosen by the commissioner of this piece, Tommy Morris.
