This high quality laser print of Ryan J. Flynn's original oil painting "In Thy Name We Have Assembled", which are easily found at any craft store. The luster paper is scratch resistant.
The work is based off of a photograph taken at the installation of the 2014 officers of Ancient York Lodge No.89 in Nashua, NH, where the artist was installed as Junior Warden. The large painting depicts the Grand Chaplain deep in prayer at the beginning of the ceremony. The dramatic glow from the above light produces a wonderful allusion to divine providence and enhances the impact of the work.
"One could technically call this a portrait of a specific person, but in my mind this is a portrait of the whole of Freemasonry. The figure in this symbolizes exactly what the members of a lodge should be. His body language is that of complete and utter faith, he sits upright in a manner that reflects how honored he is to be performing this service, his head bowed, illuminated by the volume of sacred law, and his face suggests deep contemplation and meaning. To date, I consider this my best work."
