This painting, commissioned by a brother for his lodge, depicts a crucial moment in the Hiram legend that is very familiar to any master mason.
"This is by far the largest painting I have ever done, measureing 48x36in. I wanted to portray the emotions of the three figures, at that moment when they realize what they have done, and start to understand and accept what will happen to them. It was important to me to show no anger in the piece, and to have each of them dealing with their guilt in different manners. "
