The Novum Rose Print (11x14in Signed Print)

Product Description

The Novum Rose (Black)

11 in X 14 in (27.94 cm X 35.56 cm) Gicleé Print on Premium Glossy Paper*

The Novum Rose Window is designed to be a new vision of a Master Mason Tracing Board. The geometric pattern is based upon the the timeless figure known as the Flower of Life.

Eight medallions encircle the design featuring emblems from the Master Mason degree's history: Euclid's 47th Problem, the Hour Glass, Beehive, Pot of Incense, Scythe, Anchor and Ark, Book of Constitutions Guarded by the Tyler's Sword and Sword Pointing at the Naked Heart and All Seeing Eye. The inner circle contains the emblems of the 3 principle officers of the lodge, with the corresponding columns, along with the emblems of the other officers of the lodge: Senior and Junior Wardens, Secretary and Treasurer, Senior and Junior Deacons and the Tyler and Chaplain. Finally, centered in the window, the 9th (Novum) emblem of the Coffin, Sprig of Acacia, setting Maul and Spade surround the letter G.

“I think this is just the beginning of the concept of stained glass window  tracing boards. If you stop to think about it, it makes perfect sense. Stained glass windows in medieval times were created to be both beautiful and to illustrate stories and morals, just as our tracing boards do now. I hope to create an Entered Apprentice and Fellow Craft version of this in the near future.”
